Psalm 137 was written after the Babylonian exile, but it tells a one story that took place when the people of God were exiled there. It was a season of disorientation in so many ways, especially spiritual. They felt lost, out of place, out of sorts, far from the city of God. Their sense of 'normal' was gone and they were forced to adjust to a 'new normal.' Perhaps you too have felt disoriented because of all that's happened de to COVID-19. How did they survive and what can we learn from them?
This sermon offers five lessons we can learn to help us survive this and any other season of disorientation. The first one may surprise you.
