This is the first sermon in the You Want me to do What? series.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 tells us to always rejoice, pray without ceasing, and give thanks in all things. What do each of these three imperatives mean and how do we put them to practice in our lives? Which one do you find easiest to do? Which one do you find hardest to do? How can God ask us to do these in all circumstances and at the time? This sermon will clarify what it means to always rejoice, pray without ceasing, and give thanks in all circumstances. And the reason why we can do these is a biblical understanding of God's character and his work on behalf of his children.
