This is the first sermon of 2022.
Do you make New Year's resolutions? What are you hoping and expecting for 2022? Each year is an opportunity to learn, to grow, and to develop... but they don't happen by accident. This means we have to take practical steps in that direction. This sermon will encourage you to make plans to grow spiritually, relationally, vocationally, intellectually, emotionally, financially, and physically.
The stories of Abraham (Hebrews 11) and Simeon (Luke 2) offer us examples of how to live with hopes and expectations by trusting/having faith in God. The sermon offers three questions everyone of us should ask to help us clarify our hopes and expectation for the new year.
