Romans 12:2 tells us to be transformed by the renewing of our mind. The Greek word for transformed is where we get our English word 'metamorphosis'. This first sermon is about heart transformation.
The Bible uses the word 'heart' for a variety of meanings, but it primarily refers to the essence or core of the human being. Because of that, and also because it's where human sinfulness resides, our hearts need transformation. This sermon offers four practical ways that lead to heart transformation. We can know we have a transformed heart when it's tender towards God, it's willing to obey God, and it's full of compassion towards others.
