The Westminster Shorter Catechism asks: "what is the chief end of man?" Its answer: "the chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy him forever." So, that's our purpose. When a person becomes a Christians they should stop living for themselves and start living for God and the "good things God prepared in advanced for them to do" (Eph. 2:10).
This sermon offers three ways, from Philippians 3:10-14, through which our purpose can be transformed. In the conclusion, three actions points are offered so we can live with a transformed two-fold purpose: to know and love God and make him known. In God's grace,we can turn whatever we do Monday to Friday 9-5 into something we do for his glory and into a more fulfilling experience for us.
