Transformed

This sermon will run from January 16 to March 6.

Roman 12 tells Christians to "be transformed by the renewing of your mind" (NIV) or "let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think" (NLT). The root work for transformed is the Greek word for metamorphosis. Being a disciple involves constantly morphing from who and what we are to who and what God is making us to be. Transformation into a disciple, as we will learn, is an endeavour of grace and work, a cooperation between you and the Holy Spirit - you can't do it without him and He won't do it for you. Transformation is a choice.
