9 Out with the Old, In with the New

Hebrews 9 reminds us that the old covenant sacrificial system and high priests were inadequate to accomplish what was truly needed - forgiveness of sin. But Jesus, the new High Priest, was able to establish a new covenant because his ministry is superior. Jesus died to save us so that we will no longer live for ourselves but for God.
