3 Whose Prisoner Are You?

In Ephesians Paul identifies himself, among other things, as a prisoner. Paul wrote this letter from a Roman prison while awaiting trail before Caesar. However, Paul does not see himself as a prisoner of the Emperor or a victim of the empire. He is also convinced that there one reason and one reason alone for his imprisonment - preaching the Good News that God's plan also includes all of races not just the Jews. 

This sermon will remind us that we are most free when we are fully surrendered to the Lordship of Christ. As Darrell Johnson has said so well, “I am captive to Jesus Christ. All I have and am is His to use for his good pleasure." Whose prisoner are you? If we're not fully surrendered to Christ, then we can easily become servatns of just about anything or anyone.
