Power, authority, strength, might... all words used St. Paul in the first chapter of Ephesians. He writes of God's incomparably great power at work in (1) raising Christ from the dead, (2) sitting Christ at his right hand in the heavenly realms, and (3) putting all things under Christ's feet. This same power is at work on our behalf and and in us.
This sermon reminds us that the power we need for whatever we are going through is always available to us in Christ. There is power to overcome every obstacle, defeat temptation, overcome our hang ups, and live the life we are called to live. So go ahead and live it up, empowered by God's Spirit.
